A billboard for Absolut Vodka, with furniture by IKEA, as seen in NYC. It’s interesting to see how brands from the same country join forces in collaborating on promoting their respective products. What most people don’t necessarily realize is that both IKEA and Absolut, which hail from Sweden, a country with a relatively small population, but one that has garnished the world with a few well known brands. And ultimately, they not only make their country proud, but also help to promote Country Brand Sweden.

Some of the other familiar Swedish brands: Ericsson; VOLVO; SAABH&M (Hennes & Mauritz) fast fashion; and Electrolux. What you probably were not aware of is that both Volvo and SAAB not only make reliable premium cars, but are also giant conglomerates with a wide range of industrial engineering power, involved in everything from earth moving  equipment to aerospace.
