I can’t get enough of the cool animation used by London-based RSA (Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce) to illustrate (and drive the point) topics that in themselves are already thought-provoking. RSA’s animation gives it a fun twist, making sitting through such presentation not only more useful, but also effortless. And best of all these are concise talks of no more than 10 minutes.
Here’s a presentation from Jeremy Rifkin, author of a thought-provoking book entitled: “The Empathic Civilization” who explores human empathy, how it works and how it could potentially save the world as technology continues to further the connection between us and everyone else around the world (and thus deepen our empathic concern for them).
What is empathy anyway? And is it an exclusive human trait? And why does it matter? Watch this video! And transport your mind into Rifkin’s intriguing thoughts. Rifkin is also the President and Founder of Colorado-based Foundation of Economic Trends.
