Quote of the Day | On triggering creativity

When was the last time you heard a quote like this? Back in Kindergarten perhaps! It’s very true though.

Hugh MacLeod, Cartoonist and author of “IGNORE EVERYBODY, and 39 Other Keys to Creativity”, had this quote written in his book, which got me thinking. As adults, we’re often hampered by our own mindset of our inability to think out-of-the-box, perhaps stuck in the corporate world, always performing as round pegs fitting into round holes, although we sometimes daydream of “what if” scenarios.

MacLeod’s book pokes fun at these thoughts and our “being stuck” in a world of grown ups where goofing off and thinking creatively is often frown upon in the corporate world. Pick up his book, and don’t get the cartoons fool you, for the advice is deep and sound, and the illustrations amusing and lighthearted. It will re-ignite your long lost creative juices!
